What is TR YÖS Exam? (Foreign Student Exam)
TR YÖS (Foreign Student Examination) is an exam organized in many countries in spring and fall by the Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK) for those who want to study undergraduate or associate degrees at state universities in Turkey. (This exam is not required for PhD and Master's programs.) The success score and diploma grade average of this exam will be used for registration to state universities.
It is not necessary to take the TR YÖS exam to study in private universities. Most of these universities provide education in English and the registration fee is determined according to your diploma grade. Although state universities are affordable, passing the TR YÖS exam is mandatory. The language of instruction at state universities is generally Turkish.

WHERE, WHEN AND HOW IS TR YÖS EXAM HELD?
TR YÖS exams are held in spring and autumn in many countries abroad. This exam is held in approximately one hundred countries and is held face to face in halls determined by the YÖK Presidency in Turkish, English, Arabic, Russian, German and French languages. - Exams, which were previously organized by each university, will be held only by the YÖK Presidency as of 2024. Exam results are valid for two years and are accepted by all state universities in Turkey.

TR-YÖS1: Application Date: 13.02.2025 – 12.03.2025 Exam Date: May 11, 2025
The first TR-YÖS of 2025 will be held on May 11 in approximately 60 countries. The validity period of TR-YÖS will be two years from the exam date.
TR YÖS- 1 Exam applications will be from February 13 to March 12. Late applications will be accepted between March 18 and 20.
HOW WILL I REGISTER FOR THE TR YÖS EXAM AND HOW WILL I PARTICIPATE IN THIS EXAM?
Students can always pre-register free of charge on our website and send us the necessary information. We contact pre-registered students as soon as possible and provide free consultancy services until final registration. However, students who decide to participate in the exam will pay the exam and consultancy fees to our agency. Afterwards, when the TR YÖS exam application dates are determined, we will complete the final registrations on your behalf. After the fee is paid, we will send you your exam entry document.
Exam fees vary by country and year and the maximum is 100 USD. Our exam registration consultancy fee is also 100 USD. Payments made for final registration are strictly non-refundable.
After receiving the TR YÖS exam document, you will take the exam by following all the processes according to the instructions and exam guide of the YÖK Institution. We do not have the opportunity to intervene. We also provide consultancy to students who successfully pass the exam regarding registration to State Universities in Turkey.
